It is seen as a continuation of possibilities and success in fostering life skills, job skills, and the ability to generate revenue for students with equal scholarships through store sales. The Equity Partnership’s School Network Season 4 was developed in collaboration with Equity Lab under The Equitable Education Fund (EEF), International School Network, and Sea Company (Thailand), and is regarded as a “New innovation to reduce inequality in education” after the campaign “Give a Gift Opportunity” or sell products on the Shopee online platform in the Sustainability Development Program.
Innovation results from bringing raw materials or products from local wisdom to create, develop, and distribute on the Shopee online platform by bringing high school students from international schools and junior high school students from opportunities expansion schools in rural areas or equal scholarship students.
Participating online in school and community initiatives that foster the exchange of knowledge across cultures, experiences, and teaching philosophies enables students to identify and develop under their aptitudes and potential, leading to the development of 21st-century skills such as life skills and career skills.
The final product combines the artistic talent from international schools with the handicraft skills from rural expansion schools.
Everyone is intrigued by and enjoys crafts. All Kinds, The COMMONS Thonglor, 1st floor, is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and you can stop by and donate any time of year. A total of 12 items are rotated every three months.
From February to April
- Hat (Kui Bucket) comes from St. Andrews International School in Bangkok and Ban Takian Kui Witthaya School in Surin.
- Ban Kae Yai School in Surin and St. Andrews International School in Bangkok produce silk protein soap.
- GIFT SET BOX comes from Doi Chang Community School, Chiang Rai, and Shrewsbury International School, Bangkok: 100% Arabica coffee, dragon blood tea, and Akha embroidery bag.
From May to July
- Phiangluang 16 School in Chiang Rai and Shrewsbury International School in Bangkok are the sources of the hemp cloth bags.
- Ban Nong Thong School in Phatthalung and Satit Prasarnmit International Program in Bangkok make eco print scarves that are made entirely of natural materials.
- Ban Mae To School in Chiang Mai and DBS Denla British School in Nonthaburi are the sources of the embroidered Karen woven shirts and adorable keychains.
Without deducting costs for pupils to continue and build future professional skills, all sales earnings go to the educational opportunity expansion schools in rural areas.
