The educational inequality between urban and rural schools tends to increase as reported by the World Bank, based on the measurement of scientific competency of students in urban and rural schools. More than 15,000 schools need to solve this problem throughout Thailand. The development of innovative schools network project for educational equality provides an opportunity for students in remote schools in rural areas. And this is the working network of the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), which develops knowledge and ability in the occupation and has the potential to become self-sufficient to maintain life by the Research Institute for Educational Equality of the Equitable Education Fund (EEF). The Research Institute for Educational Equality creates a partnership with international school networks and partners involved in the development of an innovative school network for educational equality (Equity Partnership’s School Network). In promoting, supporting and learning each other, the school networks are able to arrange teaching and learning that help students from both groups of schools develop their ability and potentiality truly. The students understand the difference of life and social conditions in different contexts. However, the school networks can support, promote an opportunity and add each other’s full with the participation process from all sectors, which involves in this project to find solutions in educational inequality for sustainable development in the future.
Today (2 Nov) “Teacher Tee – Saharat Chetmanorom”, Director of Awakening Days Institute, organizes activities to prepare students from upcountry 30 people from 10 schools before doing activities with students from Shrewsbury International School tomorrow. (3 Nov) All children participate in several activities and the atmosphere is full of fun. They are all ready for the development of knowledge and ability with students from international schools definitely.
