In partnership with Thammasat University, Lampang Campus, and partner schools Mae Moh Wittaya School, Ban Mai Rattanakosin School, and Sob Pad Wittaya School in Lampang Province, the Equity Lab under the Equitable Education Research Institute (EEFI) and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) organized an event on April 2, 2026, to encourage young people to develop their entrepreneurial skills. This took place at Mae Moh Wittaya School in Lampang Province as part of the seventh year of the Equity Partnership’s School Network project. The goal was to help young people reach their full potential and acquire vital skills like life, career, and 21st-century abilities. The goal of the activity was to encourage young people from other schools to share knowledge and think creatively and methodically. Through practical exercises (Learning by Doing), it also cultivates soft skills like communication and teamwork as well as entrepreneurial abilities, preparing kids and young adults for future careers.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Arun Wongkhampuang, Director of the Thammasat University Lampang Campus Administration Division. He discussed Thammasat University’s role as a partner in bringing knowledge to the community. He pointed out that in the current day, knowledge and abilities are not limited to the classroom; outside-the-classroom experiences and other talents are required. Additionally, he saw this project as a novel “sandbox” paradigm in which students might advance their knowledge and abilities more quickly with the involvement of other network partners.
Kanyanut Kongrod, a project manager and academic from the Equitable Education Research Institute (EEFI), talked about the project’s focus on enhancing educational quality and advancing educational equity in two areas: “Education for All,” which goes beyond merely reviewing the curriculum to develop vital future skills for all children and youth, and “All for Education,” which emphasizes that government agencies are not the only entities involved in education; other stakeholders, such as private companies like Sea Thailand and Thammasat University, can participate.
This exercise is a component of a project process that encourages students from Thammasat University, Mae Moh Wittaya School alumni, Ban Mai Rattanakosin School, and Sob Pad Wittaya School to share information. Teachers from Thammasat University’s Lampang Campus offered further expertise in branding and product design in addition to contemporary entrepreneurship techniques. After that, students were divided into groups and tasked with working together to create product prototypes.
In the next phase, each team will further develop their products until they are finalized and sold on the Shopee online platform, generating income for the students, schools, and communities.
