[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]”I think I am not suitable for this position. I know that my ability is not enough. I don’t want to waste time training.” These are sentences that I told the Equity lab team in the middle of the second week of working together.
In the past, the role of a teacher with the Teach for Thailand Foundation and Teaching volunteers on the mountain and the Child’s Dream Foundation would be in front of the classroom. The target group is students. There is a project to do with only a few students, teachers and villagers with a local wisdom. There are small activities organized in our own classroom. Therefore, talent and aptitude are not bigger than the school fence.
When having to take a larger role for both the target group, issues to be made, the pattern of complex activities, these all take into account many factors. Including working at home from the first day and training from a team that still has the gaps, it makes me feel like a fish that is climbing the tree and it greets me all the time.
“Why can’t I just do it? Why can’t I think a better task? “Stress, pressure and bearing expectations, these things were so overwhelming that I couldn’t even set myself up. I came to realize again, the day that the mercury had reached its limit. So, I decided to tell the team.
I was very lucky that the team listened and helped to find a solution …
“This is probably because you still do not understand the organization. When starting work, we think OKRs that have to make short-term and long-term plans, prepare activities and have a new orientation.”
From the conversation that day both us and the team learned the lessons. We began to more communication, talk about the needs of our organization, our needs and more importantly we can better manage our stress. We come back to review our first intention of working here to improve ourselves as part of helping underprivileged students in remote areas. With the principles for holding firmly, the patience of being a researcher gradually follows.
Although I now enjoy having fun when I encountered awesome educational issues, discussed experiences with various people, searched for insights like never before, this event is still a very challenging job for me. I am not confident in myself that it would be perfect but will try as much as possible. I will be a fish that enjoys climbing on trees. If I can’t do it, I will come down to swim below and then jump again when I am ready!
Thank you to three men, P’Pai, P’Pun and P’Poom, the high performance team who shot some jokes sometimes. Thanks for your encouragement and introduction to the work, teaching and help in solving the problems. Thank you to all people at the institute, I am very honored to learn together with everyone :)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_raw_html]JTVCZ29vZ2xlX2ZvbnQlMjBmb250JTNEJTIyUG9wcGlucyUyMiUyMHNpemUlM0QlMjI1MCUyMiUyMCUyMGNvbG9yJTNEJTIyJTIzMDBDNzk1JTIyJTIwd2VpZ2h0JTNEJTIyNzAwJTIyJTVEV3JpdGVyJTVCJTJGZ29vZ2xlX2ZvbnQlNUQlMEE=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”2891″ style=”vc_box_circle_2″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”3/4″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1592979508389{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]
