Dr. Nathan Roberson

Chief Research Officer, Beyond Education

Dr. Nathan Roberson is the Chief Research Officer at Beyond Education (BE). At BE, he oversees the development of research around 21st Century Competencies and works on applied measurement, monitoring, and evaluation in the fields of education, public health, and immigration. His work aims to use and develop methodologies tied to real-world contexts to develop theory, policy, and practice. He has expertise in the measurement of non-cognitive domains, such as creativity, interdisciplinarity, and social belonging and he connects this research to sociological indicators to make policy recommendations. Nathan completed his PhD in Measurement, Evaluation, and Research Methodology from the University of British Columbia and his MA in International Relations from Central European University. He has a robust portfolio of collaborations with IGOs, such as the OECD, universities, mission-driven organizations, and government ministries.
